Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Ward Clerk position on Ward 18, providing essential administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of the ward. The successful candidate will handle sensitive patient information with confidentiality.

This role involves a variety of administrative tasks and is ideal for someone eager to learn new skills and capable of working in a busy environment.

The vacancy is full-time, 37.5 hours per week, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:00.

Responsibilities include:
  1. Checking demographic details on patient admission and discharge.
  2. Arranging transport for patients attending other hospitals or departments.
  3. Answering the telephone, taking messages, or transferring calls.
  4. Coordinating outpatient appointments with clinic staff prior to discharge.
