Job summary

NTU Sport is seeking a Climbing Development Instructor to support the safe, compliant operation of the climbing facilities and to develop student climbers. You will work with student leaders and club members to build skills, confidence and safe working practices while leading on essential safety tasks and route setting.

• Experience with climbing knowledge, route setting and equipment inspection is essential.
• Ability to support safety and compliance across wall operations.
• Focus on developing skills and confidence in student climbers.

Responsibilities

• Lead on safety and operational activities, including equipment inspections and wall compliance.
• Perform maintenance checks, route setting and competency assessments; maintain inspection records.
• Provide technical advice to NTU Sport staff and ensure safe, effective climbing activities.
• Deliver hands-on climbing instruction and support student leaders and club members.
