Job summary

Praxis Group is seeking a Senior Building Surveyor to take ownership of project delivery across a premium portfolio in Greater London. You'll manage refurbishment and development projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and to a high standard.

This role offers significant autonomy and the opportunity to influence major capital projects. We value your technical and commercial judgement, as well as your ability to manage relationships with contractors and consultants.

Qualifications

• 5+ years PQE in building surveying.
• Strong technical and commercial judgement.
• Excellent project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead refurbishment and development projects from inception to completion.
• Manage project programmes, budgets, and cashflows.
• Prepare and manage design, tender, and contract documentation.

Skills

Strong building surveying experience within commercial property

Proven experience in project delivery, contract administration, and cost control

Strong knowledge of construction, refurbishment, and defect diagnosis

Clear understanding of statutory requirements including CDM, Building Control, planning, and Party Wall

Confident managing consultants, contractors, and external advisers

Able to provide clear technical advice to internal stakeholders

Capable of managing multiple projects without losing control of detail, cost, or programme
