Job summary

Madison Berkeley in Central London seeks an MRICS Building Surveyor with a minimum of five years' PQE to join a privately owned property team. You will manage tenant fit-outs, dilapidations, building inspections and proactive maintenance across a mixed-use portfolio, reporting to Development and Asset Management with an autonomous, commercially minded approach.

Building Surveyor | Client-Side Property Company | Central London

A rare opportunity has arisen for an experienced Building Surveyor to join a privately owned property company with a substantial mixed-use portfolio across Central London.

Working closely with the Development, Asset Management and Property Management teams, you will take ownership of day-to-day building and tenant matters across the portfolio.

The role will include:

• Tenant fit-outs and white box works
• Licences to alter, schedules of condition and dilapidations
• Building inspections, defect diagnosis and remedial works
• Planned maintenance and fabric repairs
• Preparing specifications, managing tenders and administering contracts
• Supporting smaller refurbishment and landlord-led projects
• Maintaining accurate building records, drawings and O&M information
