Job summary

Mint Selection | B Corp seeks a Senior Construction Manager/Head of Site Delivery to lead client-side construction on a £1bn+ pumped storage hydro project in the Scottish Highlands. You will oversee major contracts, drive safety standards, manage interfaces and coordinate multidisciplinary teams from mobilisation to handover.

We want a proven leader with Tier 1 contractor experience, NEC contract knowledge and a track record of delivering complex infrastructure through commissioning.

Qualifications

• Experience leading large-scale, complex infrastructure projects.
• Tier 1 contractor background with capability to lead site operations on big civil/energy projects.
• Strong knowledge of NEC contracts and collaborative contracting models.
• Extensive understanding of CDM, construction safety and quality management systems.
• Experience delivering major projects through construction into commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Provide visible leadership across all site activities, championing health, safety and environmental standards.
• Lead, develop and grow the client-side construction and site delivery team.
• Manage contractor performance against programme, cost, quality and safety objectives.
• Coordinate interfaces between principal contractors, specialist contractors, engineering teams and commissioning teams.
• Oversee construction readiness, site logistics, mobilisation and execution strategies.
• Review construction methodologies, temporary works and critical delivery plans.
• Support project risk management, contract administration and project controls.
• Ensure compliance with planning, environmental, regulatory and CDM requirements.
• Drive the transition from construction through completion, commissioning and handover.
• Provide senior-level input into construction strategy and delivery planning.
