Job summary

Contract Scotland is seeking a seasoned Client Project Manager to lead and deliver new build developments up to £10m from pre-construction through handover. You will coordinate with senior leadership, clients, and design teams to ensure programmes, budgets, and quality meet or exceed targets.

The role demands proactive problem-solving, strong communication and a commitment to safety and quality on site, with mentoring of site teams and a collaborative leadership approach.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing client-led projects in construction.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and sign-offs.
• Understanding of contracts and cost reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage new build construction projects (residential/commercial) up to £10m in value.
• Develop and maintain robust project programmes, ensuring timely delivery against milestones.
• Manage project budgets, cost control, and commercial reporting.
• Drive strong stakeholder engagement with clients, consultants, contractors, and statutory bodies.
• Ensure contractual compliance and manage variations, claims, and risk effectively.
• Oversee health, safety, and quality standards on site in line with company and legislative requirements.
• Mentor and support site teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
