SYSTRA UK & Ireland is seeking a leader to head the Commercial / PMO (Client Side) team. You will oversee commercial assurance for capital programmes, drive growth in services, and maximise client value across current and future projects.

You will manage time, cost and quality, recruit and develop a high-performing team, and ensure compliance with client processes while fostering strong client relationships and a culture of excellence.

Qualifications

• Experience in high value civil engineering, building, M&E, rail or general construction and/or infrastructure projects (Client Side).
• Management and reporting of Client expectations and deliverables.
• Significant NEC experience with managing change control and related processes.
• Experience of post-contract commercial services including reporting, payments, variations, claims management and final account settlement.
• BA Hons/BSc in Commercial Management, Quantity Surveying (or similar).
• Professional Chartered Membership (CICES/RICS/CiArb or equivalent).

Responsabilités

• Lead the Commercial (Client Side) team in managing time, cost and quality through programme/ project close out.
• Create and maintain a diverse, high-performing team environment.
• Provide proactive commercial leadership with timely reporting and contract deliverables.
• Minimise client risk and maximise client value to generate repeat business.
• Ensure compliance with client processes and Defence protocol.
• Identify risks/issues, report contractual claims and support dispute resolution.
• Recruit, onboard, develop, and retain team members.
• Build and maintain positive client and partner relationships.
• Collaborate with Commercial Directors to pool multi-disciplinary resources for internal/external services.
• Communicate business updates and strategic objectives clearly to the team.
• Ensure adherence to people policies and manage workforce risk.
• Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, respect and empowerment.
