JOB SUMMARY

Within the wider Group, the Wealth Planning business provides integrated financial planning and investment advice to UK wealthy and aspiring individuals. It is separately regulated to provide financial advice in the UK across investments, pensions, and protection, comprising approximately 25 staff looking after around 250 client families with average assets in excess of £3 million.

Reporting to the Client Services Manager – Wealth Planning, this role is part of the Client Services team responsible for providing high-level support to the Planners/Directors and effective client service support in accordance with our high standards.

Client Services Team Responsibilities
  • New client onboarding – setting up new clients on the system
  • Implementation of advice – liaising with pension and product providers to implement advice, obtaining quotes and illustrations
  • Investment implementation – placing trades with platform providers to implement investment advice
  • General administration including correspondence, scanning, filing, data updates, client valuations, fees
  • Research and support for Planners/Directors, including writing reports and dealing with client queries

The Client Services Associate will focus on general administration and implementation of advice, contributing to a team that offers opportunities for personal development through handling more complex client matters and a broad product range.

Main Duties & Responsibilities
Administration
  • Action and acknowledge incoming post and emails
  • Update client portal, price feeds, and process daily reports
  • Prepare and distribute client reports and letters, ensuring accuracy
  • Set up and update client records on internal systems
  • Scan and file client documents
Implementation of Advice
  • Pre-completion of forms for pensions, protection, and ISAs
  • Submission of forms to providers
  • Follow up on queries to ensure successful completion
  • Update all systems accordingly
Support
  • Contribute to the overall Client Services team, providing cover for other members
  • Support processes like client valuations and fee letters
Qualifications and Experience

Prior work experience in an administration role within a financial services company is preferred, especially with a focus on client service. Experience with pension and life business administration is advantageous.
