Be the link between great service and great relationships.

You take pride in staying organised when things get busy, communicating clearly with customers, and finding practical solutions to problems. You enjoy working in fast-paced environments where no two days are the same, and you're confident managing your workload while building positive relationships with the people around you.

At Ground Control, we're looking for a Client Services Administrator to support our Winter Maintenance and Grounds Maintenance operations. This is a role where you'll play a key part in ensuring client requests, reactive works, quotations and operational activities are managed efficiently, helping us deliver exceptional service to clients across the UK.

Success in this role comes from being proactive, resilient and customer-focused. You'll have the autonomy to manage your workload, the support of an experienced team around you, and the opportunity to make a genuine impact on both client satisfaction and operational performance.

What you'll do:

In this role, you'll help ensure our clients receive a responsive, professional service while supporting the smooth delivery of operational activities across multiple contracts.

  • Act as a key point of contact for client and customer queries, providing timely updates and helping to resolve issues before they escalation.

  • Coordinate and triage incoming work requests, ensuring urgent jobs are prioritised and directed to the right teams.

  • Manage tenders, quotations and purchase orders, helping to keep information accurate and work moving efficiently through the business.

  • Support reactive winter maintenance operations, helping teams respond quickly during weather events and periods of increased demand.

  • Maintain client systems, portals and internal records, ensuring information is accurate, up to date and accessible.

  • Work closely with Contract Managers, Key Account Managers and operational teams to provide a seamless experience for clients.

  • Handle routine complaints and service enquiries professionally, using sound judgement and a solutions-focused approach.

  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, highlight issues early and contribute to the continuous improvement of the client services function.

What you’ll get:
  • A role where your work directly contributes to client satisfaction and operational success.

  • The opportunity to build experience across both Winter Maintenance and Grounds Maintenance services.

  • Genuine responsibility and autonomy, with trust to manage your workload and make decisions.

  • Support from experienced managers and colleagues who are invested in your development.

  • Exposure to a wide range of clients, projects and operational activities across a national business.

  • The opportunity to build a long‑term career with a growing organisation driven by its purpose of caring for the environment.

What we’re looking for:
  • Experience in a customer service, client services, administration, coordination or support role.

  • A confident communicator who can build positive relationships with clients, customers and colleagues.

  • The ability to work independently and remain productive when managing tasks without direct supervision.

  • Experience working in fast‑paced or high‑volume environments where priorities can change quickly.

  • Strong organisation skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail.

  • A resilient and adaptable approach, remaining calm and professional during busy periods and seasonal peaks.

  • Confidence to identify issues, seek support when needed and communicate effectively with colleagues and managers.

  • Good computer literacy and the ability to quickly learn new systems and processes.

If you're one who enjoys helping customers, solving problems and keeping things moving during both routine operations and high‑pressure periods, we'd love to hear from you. Join Ground Control and play an important role in delivering outstanding service to thousands of client sites across the UK.

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary – aligned with your skills and experience

  • Pension scheme – helping you plan for the future

  • Private GP service – fast, convenient access to medical support

  • Life insurance – providing added peace of mind
