Lamont Pridmore is seeking an experienced Accounts Senior / Client Accountant to take ownership of a portfolio of owner-managed and family-run businesses in Carlisle. You will combine technical accounting with commercial insight to help clients make confident financial decisions.

The role includes statutory accounts, management reporting and advisory work, with a salary of £38,500-£49,500 and a bonus up to 17% in a supportive environment.

Qualificações

• Experience in a client-facing role within an accountancy practice.
• Experience managing a diverse portfolio of clients.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge.
• Commercial mindset with SME focus.
• Experience using accounts preparation software.
• Good working knowledge of cloud accounting software (Xero, Sage, QuickBooks).
• Excellent communication and client-centric attitude.
• Strong organisational skills with deadline prioritisation.
• Proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsabilidades

• Manage a portfolio of owner-managed and family businesses, acting as main contact for clients.
• Plan, prepare and review financial accounts within deadlines and budgets.
• Produce monthly, quarterly and half-yearly management reports.
• Present financial information clearly to support business decisions.
• Identify opportunities to improve tax efficiency and overall performance.
• Develop lasting client relationships through proactive communication.
