Job summary

Aon plc in London is seeking a Client Manager to join the Offshore Construction team within the Natural Resources division. You will be responsible for the day-to-day servicing of clients, retention activities and supporting new business development.

This is a hybrid role, with flexibility to work virtually and from the London office, offering exposure to Lloyds, company markets, and a collaborative, compliance‑driven environment.

Qualifications

• Experience within the insurance industry is required or highly beneficial.
• Ability to navigate IT systems to deliver strong client service.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills are essential.
• Strong organisational skills are expected in a busy environment.
• Good understanding of compliance and regulation is important.
• Desire to manage and grow client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Client relationship management with direct clients and networks.
• Conduct client meetings and contribute to placement discussions.
• Meet with insurers/underwriters and develop relationships.
• Present terms to clients and networks.
• Review or create underwriter submissions and MRC drafts.
• Provide placement advice and assist with tenders.
• Resolve invoicing queries and support offshore construction team goals.
• Operate in line with Aon UK Risk Management Framework and policies.

Aon is currently recruiting a Client Manager to join the Offshore Construction team within the Natural Resources division of our Global Broking Centre.

The role is accountable for the day-to-day running of the account (service) and can include specific objectives for client retention, new existing and new/new business development.

This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from our London office.

What the day will look like

• Client relationship management (direct clients and/or network)
• Client meetings
• Insurer and underwriter meetings and relationship development
• Present terms to client/network
• Review / create underwriter submission
• Review / produce draft/final MRC
• Providing placement advice to clients
• Assist and/or deliver tenders
• Review & resolve invoicing queries
• Support development goals and day to day functions of Offshore Construction team
• Responsible for working in accordance with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework, and compliance with the Aon UK Limited policies, including participation in the management of risks (including completion of required training) that may adversely affect the business, interests or reputation of any Group Company.
