This market-leading and Top 100 regional accountancy practice is seeking to appoint a new Client Manager into their Macclesfield office. Your New Role

As a Client Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Managing an established portfolio of clients, overseeing and preparing accounts for sole traders, limited companies, and partnerships with varied turnovers.
• Producing statutory accounts, management accounts, tax, and VAT returns across sector-agnostic clients.
• Training and mentoring junior staff, with line management responsibility for 1–2 team members.
• Managing progress and billing targets, and maintaining communication with clients and Partners.
• Developing strong client relationships, providing insightful advice and guidance.
• Collaborating across the firm to ensure high-quality service and identifying opportunities for up-selling.
• Participating in business development activities, including pitching for work and attending networking events.

Candidate Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

• Proven experience managing a large client portfolio within practice.
• Experience coaching and mentoring junior staff.
• ACA/ACCA qualification.
• Strong knowledge of accountancy software and excellent interpersonal skills.
• Motivation to learn and progress professionally.
