Job summary

Trial Balance Consulting Ltd. is recruiting an experienced Senior or Manager to join the Exeter office, offering a high degree of autonomy and a clear path to career progression.

You will lead year-end accounts and tax return preparation, monthly management accounts, VAT returns, and provide strategic financial advice to clients, while guiding junior staff and moving clients to online accounting software.

Qualifications

Job description

Our client is a successful and well-respected firm, which has established a great reputation across the region. They are now looking to recruit an experienced Senior or Manager to take on a role offering a good degree of autonomy, to be based out of their Exeter office.

The role? You will take responsibility for year-end accounts and tax return preparation, monthly management accounts, VAT return preparation, providing sound commercial and financial advice to your clients, and ensuring that your clients are transitioned to online accounting software. The role will also involve mentoring and supporting the more junior members of the team.

The successful candidate? This role would suit someone fully qualified ACA or ACCA, though my client is also happy to consider applicants who are either part qualified or those who would describe themselves as qualified by experience. Significant experience in an accountancy practice environment is essential, and your technical accounting knowledge should be excellent and fully up to date.
