Responsibilities

• Manage a varied portfolio of clients across industries.
• Prepare and review statutory accounts for entities and sole traders.
• Support clients with corporation tax, personal tax and VAT matters.
• Review work by juniors and provide technical guidance.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships as a trusted contact.
• Assist with day-to-day accountancy and taxation queries.
• Monitor deadlines and ensure compliance obligations.
• Identify opportunities for value-added and advisory services.
• Liaise with HMRC on behalf of clients where necessary.
• Collaborate with senior management on client service delivery and growth initiatives.

Overview

An exceptional and well-established Chartered Accountancy Practice is on the lookout for a NEW Client Manager to join their growing team in Eastbourne. Due to continued success and expansion, this is a newly created position offering genuine long-term career prospects and the opportunity to work with a welcoming and supportive team. You'll become a key point of contact for clients, supporting them with a broad range of accounts, tax and business advisory matters whilst building strong and lasting client relationships. A welcoming and collaborative working environment, combined with an ambitious growth strategy, makes this an exciting time to join. This role is Monday-Friday with hybrid working options available. Salary is dependent on experience/qualifications. Higher salaries can be discussed.

Duties

• Manage a varied portfolio of clients across a range of industries

• Support clients with corporation tax, personal tax and VAT matters
• Review work prepared by junior members of staff and provide technical guidance where required
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted point of contact
• Assist clients with day-to-day accountancy and taxation queries
• Monitor deadlines and ensure compliance obligations are met
• Identify opportunities to provide additional value-added and advisory services
• Liaise with HMRC on behalf of clients where necessary
• Work closely with senior management on client service delivery and practice growth initiatives

What we're looking for

A successful candidate for this role will be able to demonstrate strong prior UK Practice experience with exposure to duties named above. Ideally be ACA qualified, although ACCA qualified and part-qualified candidates will also be considered. You must live within a 1hr commute of Eastbourne.

£27,000-£30,000 (neg according to experience)
