Job summary

Armstrong Knight seeks an ACCA/ACA Accountant at Senior Accountant or Client Manager level in East London. You will manage financial statements, tax computations, and strategic financial advisory for a diverse client portfolio.

Lead a team of accountants, oversee Tax, VAT and payroll functions, and drive client development through social media efforts. Flexible working hours and WFH options are available.

Qualifications

• ACCA/ACA qualified (or qualified by experience) preferred.
• Experience in practice is essential to lead client work.
• Strong understanding of financial statements and tax.

Job description

Due to significant business wins our client is now seeking to recruit an ACCA/ACA Accountant to join the firm as a Senior Accountant OR Client Manager .

The Role

• financial statements and tax computations for clients


• Providing strategic consultancy and financial management services


• Supervise a team of Accountants on the portfolio of all clients.


• Manage the Tax, VAT and payroll departments to ensure timeframes and HMRC deadlines are being adhered too, along with the personal management of the relevant members of staff.


• Manage and develop the practices use of Social Media for advertising and new client development.

This is a strong relationship management role, with you working directly with the director to ensure the best client care and the smooth operation of the general office. For the right candidate, this role could lead to being invited to join the directorship in time.

It is essential that you have had an existing career in practice and will ideally be ACCA or ACAqualified, however applicants who are qualified by experience may also be considered.
