Job summary

Space 8 Recruitment is assisting a Coventry-based client in recruiting a Client Manager for a busy accountancy practice. You will oversee a portfolio ranging from individuals to large entities and provide more than compliance, including cash flow forecasting and tax planning.

Ideal candidates are ACCA or ACA qualified (or close) and comfortable managing deadlines, onboarding new clients, and guiding the team to deliver profitable engagements.

Qualifications

• ACCA or ACA qualified (or very nearly).
• Experience reviewing the work of accountants and acting as the primary client contact.

Responsibilities

• Review the work of accountants and be the primary point of contact for clients.
• Provide cash flow forecasting and management accounts oversight.
• Offer tax planning advice to clients.
• Onboard new clients and oversee deadlines and compliance.
• Allocate work to the team, set fees, monitor engagement scope and profitability.

Space 8 Recruitment are thrilled to be supporting our Coventry-based client to recruit a Client Manager. This highly-motivated and dynamic Accountancy Practice was established over 50 years ago and thrives today with a 3000 strong client base covering all of the UK.

Clients include corporate organisations from SMEs to larger companies including professional partnerships, public sector bodies, charities and high net worth individuals.

The Role

• This role is to manage a variety of clients, from individuals to £100m turnovers and including high net worth individuals.
• Day to day you would be reviewing the work of accountants and being the primary point of contact for the clients on your portfolio.
• You would move beyond compliance to help clients understand their numbers—providing cash flow forecasting, management accounts oversight and tax-planning advice.
• You would onboard new clients, provide deadline & compliance oversight, allocate work to the team, set fees, manage engagement scope and monitor job profitability.
