Job summary

Space 8 Recruitment are delighted to assist our Coventry-based client in recruiting an Accounts Manager. This established accountancy practice serves a 3000-strong client base across the UK and handles SMEs to larger organisations.

You will review the work of accountants, be the main contact for your portfolio, move beyond compliance with cash flow forecasting, management accounts oversight and tax planning, onboard new clients, allocate work, set fees and monitor engagement profitability.

Qualifications

• ACCA or ACA qualification (or near completion)
• Experience in an accountancy practice environment preferred

Space 8 Recruitment are thrilled to be supporting our Coventry-based client to recruit an Accounts Manager. This highly-motivated and dynamic Accountancy Practice was established over 50 years ago and thrives today with a 3000 strong client base covering all of the UK.

Clients include corporate organisations from SMEs to larger companies including professional partnerships, public sector bodies, charities and high net worth individuals.

The Role:

This role is to manage a variety of clients, from individuals to £100m turnovers and including high net worth individuals.

Day to day you would be reviewing the work of accountants and being the primary point of contact for the clients on your portfolio.

You would move beyond compliance to help clients understand their numbers—providing cash flow forecasting, management accounts oversight and tax-planning advice.

You would onboard new clients, provide deadline & compliance oversight, allocate work to the team, set fees, manage engagement scope and monitor job profitability.
