Are you an ACA-qualified accountant ready to take the next step in your career? I'm currently working with a well-established and growing accountancy firm in the Midlands, who are looking to bring a Client Manager on board to support their senior management team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to develop their leadership skills while remaining hands-on across both audit and accounts. The Role:

As a Client Manager, you’ll play a key part in the firm’s continued success. You'll manage a portfolio of clients, lead on audits and accounting projects, and act as a bridge between the management team and the wider practice. Your focus will be both technical and strategic – contributing to service delivery, team development, and business growth.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Managing a mixed portfolio of audit and accounting clients
  • Acting as a key point of contact for clients, offering sound technical and commercial advice
  • Supporting the leadership team with planning and workflow management
  • Coaching and developing junior staff across audit and accounts
  • Reviewing work prepared by junior team members and providing constructive feedback
  • Ensuring compliance with current regulations and internal standards
  • Getting involved in business development and client relationship building

What We’re Looking For:

  • ACA qualified (newly qualified to 2+ years PQE)
  • Practice background with a mix of audit and accounts exposure
  • A confident communicator with a passion for mentoring others
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • A full UK driving licence is required due to the need for client visits.
  • Keen to step into a role with more responsibility and visibility
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, client-focused environment
