Job summary

IQ-EQ is seeking a Client Assistant Accountant in the United Kingdom. You will support day-to-day management of private equity, real estate, credit, or debt fund clients, ensuring accurate fund accounting, investor reporting, and timely delivery of client reporting requirements.

You will prepare financial statements, communicate cash movements, and maintain strong stakeholder relationships while driving operational excellence and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Proficient in accounting fundamentals and financial reporting.
• Experience in managing client relationships and stakeholders.
• Ability to prepare and review working papers and financial statements.
• Familiarity with UK GAAP and IFRS reporting.
• Progress toward ACCA or ACA certification is expected.

Responsibilities

• Manage designated fund clients as a key point of contact.
• Prepare and review quarterly and annual financial statements and fund transactions.
• Calculate and communicate investor drawdowns, distributions, and cash movements.
• Coordinate timelines to ensure deadlines and reporting requirements are met.
• Support process improvements and operational risk reduction.
