Job summary

IQ-EQ is seeking a Client Assistant Accountant to support day-to-day management of private equity, real estate, credit, or debt fund clients. You will ensure accurate fund accounting, investor reporting, and timely client reporting while building strong stakeholder relationships.

Responsibilities include preparing quarterly and annual financial statements, calculating investor drawdowns and cash movements, and coordinating deadlines to maintain reporting quality and compliance.

Qualifications

• Higher-level education qualification or equivalent accounting credential.
• Progress toward ACCA or ACA professional certification.
• Experience preparing and reviewing working paper files and financial statements.

Responsibilities

• Manage designated fund clients, building strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Prepare and review quarterly and annual financial statements and fund transactions per UK GAAP/IFRS.
• Compute investor drawdowns, distributions and cash movements, ensuring accuracy and timely notices.
• Oversee client deliverables by coordinating timelines and reporting requirements.
• Collaborate with team members to improve processes and reduce risk.
