Job summary

IQ-EQ is seeking a Client Accountant to manage day-to-day relationships with private equity, real estate, credit, or debt fund clients and oversee fund accounting activities and financial reporting. You will ensure regulatory compliance and timely client deliverables while maintaining strong relationships with CFOs and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• ACCA, ACA or CIMA qualification (or qualified by experience) and/or a higher-level education qualification
• 3+ years of experience in a professional office environment, preferably in financial services or accounting
• Strong accounting knowledge with ability to review working papers and financial statements
• Proven experience managing client relationships and communicating with stakeholders
• Experience mentoring junior team members and using Excel to analyze data

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day relationships with designated fund clients and act as primary front-office contact
• Review quarterly and annual financial statements and fund accounting activities for compliance with UK GAAP/IFRS and LPAs
• Oversee investor drawdown and distribution calculations and related cash movements
• Coordinate timelines and ensure high-quality, timely delivery of all reporting requirements
• Mentor team members, support process improvements and drive risk reduction initiatives
