Job summary

The Solution Automotive Limited is seeking a Client Finance Manager to join their growing finance team in Basildon. You will handle motor finance cases within FCA guidelines, build strong customer relationships and help clients select suitable products while striving to meet team KPIs.

This role offers a Monday–Friday pattern with minimal weekend work, a competitive salary with uncapped bonus potential, and a supportive environment with access to multiple lenders and ongoing professional

Qualifications

• Experience in motor trade or FCA regulated financial services.
• Solid understanding of vehicle finance products and warranties.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Results-driven with ability to manage your own workload.
• Proactive attitude towards FCA regulations and SAF accreditation.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with customers, understanding their finance requirements and recommending suitable products.
• Manage finance quotations and applications in line with FCA regulations and internal compliance standards.
• Clearly explain finance products and services, ensuring transparency and customer confidence throughout the process.
• Work towards individual and team KPIs, maximising conversion rates while maintaining excellent customer service.
• Maintain accurate customer records and complete all administration using the CRM system.
• Conduct affordability and credit assessments while ensuring FCA and GDPR compliance.
• Liaise with dealerships, lenders and external partners to facilitate efficient transactions and minimise fraud risk.

Key Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with customers, understanding their individual finance requirements and recommending suitable products.
• Manage finance quotations and applications in line with FCA regulations and internal compliance standards.

To be successful in this role, you'll ideally have:

• Previous experience within the motor trade, vehicle finance, asset finance or another FCA regulated financial services environment.
• A solid understanding of vehicle finance products, warranties, insurance and FCA compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication, organisation and relationship-building skills.
• A results-driven approach with the ability to manage your own workload and work effectively within a team.
• A proactive attitude towards professional development, staying up to date with FCA regulations, SAF accreditation and industry best practice.
