Job summary

YouGov's Client Services team is seeking a proactive researcher to contribute to questionnaire design, fieldwork management, analysis and presenting findings to clients. You will collaborate with Insight, Account Management and New Business to deliver clear, unbiased results that meet each brief and withstand scrutiny.

You will be involved in tracking and ad hoc studies across consumer and B2B sectors, working directly with clients and senior researchers on global projects.

Qualifications

• Strong interest in research and data insights.
• Quantitative research experience or familiarity with primary research methods.
• Excellent focus and ability to deliver accurate results.
• Outstanding attention to detail and data quality.
• Understanding of statistics and quantitative analysis is desirable.
• Self-motivated and confident in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assisting and designing with questionnaire design and reporting insight across projects, ensuring they meet objectives and reflect best research practice
• Managing projects end-to-end: from inception, through fieldwork monitoring and swift issue resolution, to delivering results and clearly communicating what the research shows
• Liaising with clients and collaborators on all day-to-day aspects of projects, including reviewing client-created materials to ensure results are accurate
• Working with senior researchers on larger, high‑profile quantitative and global projects, and supporting other researchers on Insight projects
• Supporting commercial teams on fast-turnaround client requests — assessing feasibility, helping with quotes, and assisting with client calls or pitches
• Learning and using YouGov's technical systems, including logging client activity, recording project communications, and scripting surveys
