Job summary

The Cardinal Partnership, the parent of Cardinal Global Logistics and Far Logistics, seeks an Operations Co-ordinator in Southampton to support import and export requirements. You will work under the Operations Manager to ensure procedures are followed, profitability and efficiency of the department.

Qualifications

• Ability to develop rapport with clients, ensuring regular contact and support offered, quite often at multiple levels within their business.
• Integration with other Far Logistics Offices, both in the UK and Overseas.
• Monitor supplier performance, ensuring a high level of service at all times & advise Operations Manager of any issues.

Responsibilities

• Manage your own time to best efficiency for the business.
• Monitor the systems and processes throughout the department & inform Operations Manager of any ideas for change.
• Ensure all shipments, are processed within a timely manner.
• Prompt processing of Client invoicing and passing of supplier costs to meet KPI’s
• Report any issues to the Operations Manager if they cannot be dealt with by yourself or will take an extended amount of time to complete.
• Ensure procedures are followed at all times.

• Develop trust and respect from colleagues across the organisation.
