Job summary

T-Tech, a fast-growing UK IT consultancy, is seeking an IT Field Engineer in Manchester to join our service desk supporting a key client. You will provide 2nd line support, troubleshoot networks, servers, hardware and software, and own issues through to resolution.

You will build strong relations with the client’s IT team, document incidents and outcomes, and suggest improvements to service delivery. The role includes working on Aberdeen client projects and maintaining reliable IT operations.

Qualifications

• 2nd line support experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient knowledge of IT systems, including hardware, software, networks and servers.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills under pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks.
• It certifications such as ITIL, CompTIA or Microsoft certifications are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide 2nd line support and own issues to resolution.
• Troubleshoot networks, servers, hardware and software escalated from 1st line.
• Build strong relationships with client IT teams and stakeholders.
• Document incidents, solutions and best practices.
• Identify opportunities to improve service delivery and IT environment.
