Amical Vets in March, part of IVC Evidensia, is hiring a permanent Practice Manager to lead the non-clinical operations and work closely with clinical leadership to ensure smooth day-to-day running and a superb client experience. This full-time role is 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with no weekends or out-of-hours.

You will manage operations, people and compliance, delivering strong performance and a positive culture that enables clinicians to provide excellent care.

• Proven experience in a management role, ideally within healthcare, veterinary, or service-led environments.
• Strong people management skills, including performance management and team development.
• Good operational and organisational capability, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Experience handling complaints, change, and complex situations with confidence.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

As a proud member of the inspiring vet care family, Amical Vets are looking for a permanent Practice Manager t help shape the future of the practice! This is a full time role, covering 40 hours per week over Monday - Friday. There are no weekends or out of hours required.

How You’ll Make a Difference

As Practice Manager, you will lead the non-clinical operations of the practice, working closely with clinical leadership to ensure efficient day-to-day running, strong team performance, and an outstanding client experience.
You’ll be responsible for operational delivery, people management, and compliance, while supporting the practice to achieve its performance, quality, and service objectives. This role plays a key part in creating a positive culture and enabling clinical teams to deliver excellent care.

About Us

The practice has a modern waiting area, large open spaced dispensary which our consult rooms back onto for ease, fully equipped inhouse Idexx lab, large digital xray room with a separate viewing area, open space prep area and recovery cages, bright theatre with heated theatre table and multiparameter machines with easy access to suture material window and crash trolley, large multiprobe ultrasound, dedicated dental area and equipment. We have a supportive team of RVN’s based in practice who offer their own nurse consults in their own consult rooms. As a practice we support many charities in the local area, such as Merrylegs, RSPCA and Cats protection.
