Job summary

Bolton Central Vets for Pets is seeking a full-time Client Care Advisor to join our Bolton practice. The role is 40 hours per week with 1 in 4 Saturdays, based at BL2 1HQ. You will be the welcoming, helpful face for clients and their pets, coordinating bookings and payments with the clinical team.

We value friendly, professional service and a genuine love for animals, with opportunities for development within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Experience in veterinary or customer care environment preferred.
• Warm, friendly face to greet clients and pets on arrival.
• Confident in guiding clients about practice services.

Responsibilities

At Bolton Central Vets for Pets, we value our people just as much as our patients. We’re excited to welcome an enthusiastic individual to join us as a full-time Client Care Advisor.

This is a full-time role, working 40 hours per week with 1 in 4 Saturdays.

What your typical day will look like:

• Providing outstanding service to clients while ensuring their pets receive the very best care, acting as an essential link between clients and the clinical team.
• Building and maintaining strong, trusting relationships with clients, their pets, and the wider practice team.
• Ensuring every client visit is a positive experience so they leave feeling valued, reassured, and happy to return.
• Offering a warm welcome, providing guidance and support, and handling payments and future bookings with efficiency and care.
• Coordinating the smooth daily flow of the practice using our online booking system—strong computer skills are essential.

The attributes required:

• Previous experience in the veterinary industry or a customer care environment is preferred.
• Someone who can be the warm, friendly face that greets clients and their pets on arrival.
• A proactive individual who can confidently guide clients by staying fully informed about all practice services and offerings.
• A calm, attentive approach, always focused on meeting each client’s needs.
• Enthusiasm, drive, and a genuine passion for delivering exceptional service—along with a love for animals.
• The ability to handle a range of situations with professionalism, from supporting clients during difficult moments to celebrating the joy of a puppy’s first visit.
• A team player who contributes to a positive, welcoming, and friendly atmosphere for clients and colleagues alike.
