Rutherford Cross is assisting a growing business in Glasgow to recruit an Accounts Assistant/Assistant Accountant. You will join a collaborative finance team, take ownership of varied finance tasks, and work closely with the Finance Director to develop broad experience across budgeting, reconciliations, and client accounts.

Qualificações

• Experience in a finance role such as Accounts Assistant or Finance Assistant.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Confident communicating with a range of stakeholders.
• Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Good Excel skills and experience working with finance systems.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with preparation and reconciliation of budgets across developments.
• Support quarterly billing processes and client account reviews.
• Prepare and reconcile sinking fund balances and interest postings.
• Process sinking fund reimbursements and development-specific financial activities.
• Reconcile client bank accounts and maintain accurate financial records.
• Manage purchase ledger payment runs and supplier payments.
• Prepare and process developer and client invoices.
