Job summary

Crowe Watson Recruitment is supporting a Glasgow-based Chartered Accountants practice in their search for an Accounts Senior/Assistant Manager. This role offers flexible working, a company pension, and a clear path to grow your management experience within a respected firm across Scotland.

You will lead a varied portfolio of clients, oversee year-end work, coach junior staff and act as a key contact for clients and partners, helping the team to maintain high standards of accounts preparation.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working within a UK Practice environment.
• Sound knowledge of UK GAAP and accounts preparation.
• Experience reviewing the work of others.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of clients and prepare accounts to a high standard
• Review work completed by junior team members
• Supervise, coach and develop the accounts team
• Act as a trusted point of contact for clients and partners
• Oversee deadlines and the efficient running of year end work
