Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

Working within the Jersey Client Accounting team, this role will be responsible for maintaining the day-to-day integrity of ledgers, assisting in the preparation of financial statements, attending client board meetings, and presenting financial information. You will serve as the central point of contact for external auditor liaisons for multiple clients, developing strong relationships with clients and internal teams, and reviewing the input of bookkeepers. Additional responsibilities include:

• Preparing and ensuring procedures and controls are maintained and followed at all times
• Routine month-end / quarter-end management accounts preparation for a portfolio of clients
• Preparing annual financial statements for a portfolio of clients
• Preparing and reviewing audit supporting information and schedules
• Completing bookkeeping for various clients
• Tracking and monitoring the preparation of financial information
• Proactively identifying process improvement and service line development opportunities
• Carrying out all aspects of role in accordance with relevant policies, procedures, and controls

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

We are seeking an individual who is either part-qualified with ACA, ACCA (or equivalent) or has completed some exams, preferably with experience in a client-facing role. Experience in Real Estate or Private Wealth environments is desirable but not essential.

You should be approachable, with a positive 'can-do' attitude and a client service mentality. A highly diligent and organized approach to work, with strong numeracy and analytical skills, is essential.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially MS Excel, is required.
