Overview

Join us as a Quality and Compliance Inspector at Thirteen Group!

Thirteen Group is on the lookout for a Quality and Compliance Inspector to join our Governance Team at Hudson Quay, Middlesbrough. You’ll be overseeing the quality and safety of works across a high volume, diverse and geographically dispersed residential and construction environment, which includes a complex building portfolio.

This is a roam role, so you’ll work mainly from site and at least one day a week (Thursdays) from our fantastic office at Hudson Quay in Middlesbrough. You\u2019ll have the option to work from home when not needed elsewhere. We’ll need you to be flexible around business and team need, so you may need to come into the office more frequently when required.

Key Responsibilities
  • You\u2019ll be responsible for overseeing the quality of works on a range of properties and provisions.
  • You will ensure that building plans, risk assessments and design specifications are all being followed throughout completion in any works to our stock.
  • You\u2019ll be working with a great set of colleagues from Asset, Investment, Compliance, Development and H&S collaboratively to ensure risks are assessed and quality standards and specifications are delivered in line with Thirteen\u2019s standard.
  • You can expect to work from home, but you\u2019ll also be able to base yourself in one of our hubs when required. You should also expect to spend the majority of your time working at our various sites across the North East, East and West Yorkshire.
About You
  • You\u2019ll have experience of overseeing building safety works.
  • You\u2019ll be able to implement and review risk assessments.
  • You\u2019ll be able to demonstrate a knowledge of CDM principles and building regulations, including building safety.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of projects involving M&E and Infrastructure.
  • You need to be comfortable and willing to travel across multiple geographical locations, and will need a full UK driving licence with access to your own vehicle.
