Job summary

J.P. Morgan is seeking a Cleared Margin Client Service and Treasury Operations Representative within Global Equity Operations.

You will manage margin settlements, cash funding and FX processing for clients, while driving process improvements across international teams. As part of Global Equity Operations, you will settle margin values, monitor collateral, perform reconciliations, and support reporting across Central Counterparties.

Qualifications

• Experience in Futures/Options operations (Cleared & OTC) or similar background.
• Strong client service, cash funding, global settlements & reconciliations experience.
• Analytical and strategic thinking with ability to develop client solutions and drive process improvements.
• High accuracy, numeracy, Excel proficiency, and comfort with core processing systems.
• Excellent communication skills across multiple lines of business and tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize client collateral and monitor its movement.
• Respond to incoming margin settlement requests, align with JP Morgan exposure, and determine asset movements.
• Develop and enhance the Clearing Client Service offering.
• Ensure timely settlement of trades with exchanges and clients; follow up on failed settlements.
• Accurately fund exchange cash accounts and process client FX transactions.
• Prevent deficits in client payments and address counterparty issues.
• Maintain controlled procedures and support reconciliations, reporting, and root cause analysis.
• Handle investigations, audits, and ad hoc management requests.
• Review processes, implement enhancements, and participate in strategic change initiatives.

Join a dynamic team at J.P. Morgan, where you'll play a key role in supporting global clients and optimizing margin and treasury operations in Futures & Derivatives Clearing - Global Equity Operations. Make an impact by driving process improvements and collaborating across international teams.

As a Cleared Margin Client Service and Treasury Operations Representative within Global Equity Operations, you will manage a range of tasks including settling margin values (Cash, Securities, Letters of Credit) with clients, cash funding, global non-cash collateral settlements, FX trade processing, reconciliation and break resolution, settling margin obligations at Central Counterparties and owning the full life cycle of the underlying securities trades of expired options and futures.

Job responsibilities

• Manage and optimize client collateral and monitor its movement.
• Answering of incoming margin settlement requests sent by clients, comparing them to JP Morgan's exposure and agreeing on the amount and type of asset to be moved.
• Continue development of the Clearing Client Service offering.
• Ensure timely settlement of trades with exchanges and clients. Timely follow up on any failed settlements.
• Accurately fund exchange cash accounts and process client FX transactions.
• Prevent client payments from resulting in deficits and follow up on counterparty issues.
• Maintain a controlled environment by adhering to and updating operational procedures.
• Report significant issues to management and respond quickly to internal inquiries. Support reconciliations, resolve discrepancies, and assist with reporting and root cause analysis.
• Handle ad hoc management requests, operational investigations, and audit requirements.
• Regularly review processes, suggest improvements, and implement enhancements. Participate in strategic STP initiatives and manage complex change requests.
• Ensure full compliance with all control and educational requirements.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

• Previous Operations experience of Futures and Options (Cleared & OTC) or similar background.
• Working knowledge of client service, cash funding, global settlements & reconciliations.
• Strong problem-solving & strategic thinking and should be able to develop solutions for clients and drive process improvements.
• Should possess high accuracy & attention to detail,maintain precision and highly numerate, with strong proficiency in Excel and core systems.
• Must possess strong communication skills, as the role involves detailed interactions across multiple lines of business and core processing areas.
• Shouldbe able to work methodically, adhering to strict deadlines and perform well under pressure.
• Ability to proactively identify risks and confidently challenge stakeholders when controls may be compromised.
