Adur & Worthing Councils is recruiting a physically fit Cleansing Driver Operative to join our team in the Adur and Worthing district. The role involves domestic and commercial food waste collections, litter picking, sweeping shop fronts, and bin delivery and collection across the area.

You will be responsible for daily vehicle checks, adhering to health and safety practices, and ensuring all paperwork is completed and sites are left clean and safe at day’s end. Early finish each day is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Domestic and commercial food waste collections
• Litter picking and sweeping shop fronts
• Emptying litter bins and collecting bulky items
• Delivery and collection of trade and domestic bins
• Vehicle checks and safe driving practices
• Ensure paperwork is completed and sites left clean and safe
