Responsibilities

• Drive and operate a vehicle up to 7.5 tonnes gross vehicle weight and carry out power mechanism operation as required.
• Carry out vehicle checks, routine maintenance, and report defects or incidents immediately.
• Load/unload goods using mechanical aids and ensure supplies and equipment are secured daily/weekly.
• Complete necessary paperwork and follow defined standards for waste transport and disposal.
• Support the service in line with Environment Act 2021 and recycling initiatives.
• Maintain communications with the Street Cleansing Officer and adjust routes for efficiency.
