Job summary

Randstad CPE is seeking a Manufacturing Technician I for a 12-month contract in Cramlington. Day shift runs 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM on a 4 days on/4 days off cycle.

The role focuses on safe production of single-use medical products in a cGMP-cleanroom environment to meet customer orders. The candidate will follow SOPs, assemble components with precision using hand tools, perform material setup and kitting, and ensure quality by inspecting finished goods and recording cGMP batch data.

Qualifications

• Experience assembling components in manufacturing or cleanroom environments (cGMP preferred).
• Ability to use hand tools with precision and good manual dexterity.
• Basic maths skills and strong attention to detail.
• Able to stand for 12-hour shifts and handle physical demands.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs, assembly drawings, and batch records.
• Manually assemble components on the production line using hand tools.
• Perform raw material setup and kitting.
• Inspect finished goods for quality and customer spec adherence.
• Record cGMP data in batch records.
• Maintain cleanroom 5S standards and proper PPE usage.
