Job summary

Exhall Grange Specialist School in Coventry seeks a Cleaning Supervisor to lead a dedicated team of eight cleaners, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across the school premises.

The role covers term-time hours 15:00–20:00, 25 hours/week, with 10 additional days during holidays; salary £15,440 p.a. for 25 hours, 40 weeks. Benefits include LGPS, EAP, Cycle to Work, and Vivup.

Qualifications

• Basic literacy and numeracy to read instructions.
• Supervise and demonstrate to staff.
• Previous cleaning experience.
• Operate equipment and use materials.
• Follow procedures and read labels.
• Understand COSHH regulations.

Responsibilities

• Managing Staff: train cleaners, supervise, manage rota.
• Safety: ensure health, safety and COSHH compliance.
• Supplies: inventory and ordering of cleaning products/equipment maintenance.
• Quality checks: maintain overall standards across the team.
