Job summary

Norse Group is seeking an experienced Cleaning Supervisor to oversee cleaning at High View Primary in Wombwell. The role is 15 hours per week, with shifts 5:00–7:00 and 17:00–18:00, Monday to Friday.

You will supervise a small team, ensure quality cleaning, and manage staff attendance and equipment usage. The successful candidate will lead with strong communication and organisational skills, provide on-site supervision, and maintain high standards in line with the contract requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience in a supervisory cleaning role.
• Leadership and team management capabilities.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Attention to detail and high cleaning standards.
• Comfortable using mobile devices for reporting and scheduling tasks.
• Flexibility to work early mornings and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Lock and secure the school in the evening.
• Carry out routine and non-routine cleaning duties per specification.
• Manage cleaning chemicals and products per guidelines.
• Organise staff attendance and cover for sickness/leave.
• Ensure Health & Safety of staff under supervision.
• Maintain cleaning standards at all times.
• Handle personnel paperwork on schedule.
