Job summary

Kindred FM is seeking a hardworking Cleaning Supervisor to oversee an on-site cleaning team at Somerhill House, Tonbridge. The role covers leadership, training, and ensuring delivery of contracted cleaning hours while maintaining high health and safety standards.

You will manage schedules, monitor hours, and coordinate supplies, with a fixed 18:00–23:00, Monday to Friday shift and a pay rate of £16.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning or supervising experience.
• Must be able to commit to working hours as these hours are fixed.
• Can reliably commute to the site location.
• Able to complete the physical demands of the role with reasonable adjustments.
• Complete tasks within a specified timeframe.
• An ability to communicate in English, although English as a first language is not a requirement.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the cleaning team with on-site training and support.
• Complete and submit timesheets accurately and on time.
• Ensure all contracted cleaning hours are delivered.
• Monitor hours worked against allocated hours and flag shortfalls.
• Agree any additional hours or overtime in advance.
• Conduct inspections to uphold health and safety and quality standards.
• Manage stock levels of cleaning materials and supplies.
• Develop and implement efficient work schedules.
