Job summary

Norse Group Ltd. is seeking a part-time Cleaning Supervisor for Kettlethorpe High School, Wakefield. The role covers term-time hours (13.75 per week, Monday to Friday 3:15pm–6:00pm) and requires supervising a small team to deliver high standards of cleaning.

The successful candidate will oversee staff, ensure health and safety, complete paperwork, and report via smartphones/tablets, with a competitive hourly rate of £13.80.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a supervisory cleaning role.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high standards.
• Confident using smartphones/tablets for reporting and scheduling tasks.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine cleaning duties and supervise a small team to meet the cleaning specification.
• Ensure safe use of cleaning products and equipment and maintain health and safety standards.
• Organise staff attendance, cover and training, and complete relevant documentation on time.
• Assist in interviewing and induction of new cleaners and monitor performance.
