Job summary

OCS is seeking a Supervisor to lead cleaning staff, ensure high cleanliness standards, and support safe, hygienic environments for customers and colleagues. The role involves rota planning, coaching, and audits to maintain quality across sites.

You will manage stock, liaise with customers, and drive adherence to safety procedures while supporting a small team. Flexibility with early hours is important, with opportunities for professional growth in a busy facilities team.

Qualifications

• Good IT skills and MS Office knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing and assisting with the cleaning of all areas within the cleaning specification (plus other ad hoc areas/duties, as required).
• Managing a small team, looking after rotas, holidays, absence management within budget and performance management to achieve a consistently high standard of cleaning.
• Delivering coaching/training, including health & safety, to all cleaning operatives and ensuring all records are updated correctly.
• Conducting cleaning audits on a weekly basis and escalating any areas of concern for support.
• Hold weekly team meetings and briefing sessions with your team to ensure clear and consistent communication.
• Manage the ordering of stock and consumables, updating the stock management system and distribution to cleaning stores.
• Regularly interact with customers/clients to assist them and communicate at all levels.
• Plan high level and deep cleaning works as required.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.

About The Role

As Supervisor, you will ensure that cleaning staff perform their duties efficiently, maintain high cleanliness standards, and contribute to a safe and hygienic environment.

Working Pattern

• MONDAY 5AM-10AM
• TUESDAY 5AM-10AM
• WEDNESDAY 5AM-10AM
• THURSDAY 5AM-10AM
• FRIDAY 5AM-10AM
• SATURDAY 5AM-10AM

Key responsibilities
