Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is recruiting a Cleaning Supervisor to support our client’s site Monday to Friday, 13:00–19:00. The role focuses on supervising cleaning staff, delivering training, maintaining records, and ensuring high cleanliness standards in a safe environment.

You will manage rotas, holidays, performance, stock, and audits, and interact with clients to resolve issues while upholding our TRUE values of Trust, Respect, Unity, and Empowerment.

Qualifications

• Ability to meet deadlines and prioritise tasks.

Responsibilities

• Managing a small team, looking after rotas, holidays, and performance and responsible for delivering training to all cleaning operatives and ensuring all records are updated correctly.
• Overseeing and assisting with the cleaning of floors, communal areas, stairwells, and washrooms (plus other ad hoc areas).
• Conducting cleaning audits on a weekly basis and escalating any areas of concern.
• Managing the ordering of stock and consumables, updating the stock management system and distribution to cleaning cupboards.
• Communicating with customers/clients at all levels as needed.

About The Role

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 13:00pm to 19:00pm

We are currently recruiting for a Cleaning Supervisor to support our client’s site.

As Supervisor, you will ensure that cleaning staff perform their duties efficiently, maintain high cleanliness standards, and contribute to a safe and hygienic environment.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Managing a small team, looking after rotas, holidays, and performance and responsible for delivering training to all cleaning operatives and ensuring all records are updated correctly.
• Overseeing and assisting with the cleaning of the floors, communal areas, stairwells, and washrooms (plus other ad hoc areas).
• Responsible for conducting cleaning audits on a weekly basis and escalating any areas of concern
• Managing the ordering of stock and consumables, updating the stock management system and also the distribution to cleaning cupboards.
• You will come into regular contact with customers/clients so it is important that you can assist them if needed and that you can communicate at all levels.

The Ideal Candidate

• You must have Right to Work in the UK.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role.
• You will be able to work to deadlines and prioritise
• You will be required to undergo background screening prior to starting in this role.
