Kindred is seeking a Cleaning Supervisor for an educational site in Tonbridge. You will lead a cleaning team, conduct routine inspections to uphold health and safety standards, and ensure high quality cleaning across client sites.

The role requires reliable commuting to Somerhill House and a commitment to fixed evening hours. Prior supervisory experience is preferred, with strong English communication skills expected.

Cleaning Supervisor

Kindred are looking for a hardworking and reliable cleaning supervisor to be based in an educational building located in Tonbridge.

Pay rate: £16.00 per hour.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 18:00-23:00

Location: Somerhill House, Tonbridge TN11 0NJ

As a key leader in our on‑site operations, you will:

• Empower and motivate your team through comprehensive training and ongoing support.
• Conduct thorough inspections, ensuring strict adherence to health & safety regulations and our rigorous quality standards.
• Efficiently manage stock levels of cleaning materials and supplies, optimising resources.
• Develop and implement effective work schedules, allocating tasks to ensure seamless and efficient workflow.

Minimum requirements:

• Previous cleaning or supervising experience.
• Must be able to commit to working hours as these hours are fixed.
• Can reliably commute to the site location.
• Able to complete the physical demands of the role with reasonable adjustments.
• Complete tasks within a specified timeframe.
• An ability to communicate in English, although English as a first language is not a requirement.

• Strong leadership and team motivation skills.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to cleaning operations.
• Experience in managing stock levels of cleaning materials and supplies.

Desired Criteria

• Experience within the cleaning or facilities management industry.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations (e.g., COSHH).
• Proficiency in basic computer applications for tasks such as scheduling and reporting.
• Relevant certifications in cleaning or facilities management.
• Proven experience as a Cleaning Supervisor.
