Job summary

Kindred is hiring a Cleaner to help maintain clean and safe classrooms, toilets, and common areas at our Weston-super-Mare sites in North Somerset. The role requires an enhanced DBS check and offers morning or evening shifts of 2.5 hours.

Pay is £12.71 per hour. You will contribute to a welcoming environment while following safety and COSHH guidelines, with duties including general cleaning and restocking supplies.

Qualifications

• Able to complete the physical demands of the role with reasonable adjustments.
• To follow instructions (including written) and work safely for periods of time on their own.
• Complete tasks within a specified timeframe.
• An ability to communicate in English, although English as a first language is not a requirement.
• Able to fulfil the shift patterns because the timings of the role would be fixed.

• Reporting any maintenance issues, hazards, or damages promptly.

Teamwork & Independence:

• Working independently to complete tasks on time with minimal supervision.
• Supporting colleagues as needed to ensure high overall cleanliness standards.

Customer Care & Presentation:

• Ensuring cleaning standards reflect Kindred's commitment to a professional, inclusive, and welcoming environment.
• Being polite and respectful when working in areas where staff, clients, or visitors are present.
