Job summary

Mitie is seeking a Cleaning Lead to provide a visible, hands-on presence across an operational site, driving consistently high-standard cleaning. You will complete daily audits and live assessments, work with operational teams to resolve issues in real time, and ensure standards are achieved and sustained.

The role involves leading inspections and audits, providing feedback, and building relationships with stakeholders to support operational review meetings and actions.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning or facilities services.
• Experience with inspections and audits.
• Knowledge of COSHH and health & safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Complete workplace inspections and audits around the site to assess cleanliness, presentation and delivery against agreed standards.
• Lead cleaning assessments, provide clear and constructive feedback, and work with operational teams and supervisors to ensure corrective actions are completed promptly.
• Monitor repeat issues and maintain accurate records.
• Build relationships with GSK and Mitie stakeholders, supporting operational meetings, joint inspections, workplace reviews and the closure of agreed actions.

• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills,
