Job summary

First Bus Lowestoft is seeking a Cleaning Supervisor to lead a small team ensuring buses and depot premises stay spotless and ready for service. You will manage schedules, supervise cleaners, and support maintenance tasks at the Lowestoft depot.

The role offers 39 hours per week, 4pm–12:30am shifts, and a permanent contract with an hourly rate of £14.79, equating to about £29,994 per year. Applicants must hold a UK driving license and have supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months cleaning experience.
• Must have supervisory experience.
• PCV licence not essential; training available.

Responsibilities

• Oversee rota planning and shift allocations for a team of 7.
• Assist with internal and external cleaning of buses and depot premises.
• Assist with fueling, oiling, watering, shunting and parking of vehicles.
• Complete cleaning records, cover shifts, and conduct quality control audits on cleaners.
• Follow Health and Safety at work policy and use protective clothing correctly.

Contracted Hours:39 per week - permanent position

Shifts: 5 days over 7, 4pm-12:30am

About The Role

Do you take pride in keeping things spotless and running smoothly? Join our energetic team of Cleaners, Engineers, and Maintenance staff who keep our fleet in top condition. As a CleaningSupervisor, you\'ll play a vital role in making sureour vehicles are ready to hit the road each day at our busy Lowestoft depot.

For helping keep our fleet on the road, you\'ll earn a good hourly payrate and great rewards & benefits (see below).

Key Responsibilities:

• Overseeand assist with planning the rota, duty and shift allocations of a team of 7 staff
• Assisting with the internal and external cleaning of buses and depot premises with the use of specialist equipment and chemicals
• Assist with fuelling, oiling, watering, shunting and parking of vehicles
• Complete cleaning records, cover shifts, quality control audits on cleaners
• To adhere to the Health and Safety at work policy, ensuring protective clothing is used properly at all times and appropriate practices and procedures are always followed

About You

• A full UK driving license is a requirement of this role as you will be required to park and manoeuvre vehicles around the depot
• At least 6 months of cleaning experience, confident using cleaning equipment and chemicals
• Must have supervisory experience
• A PCV licence isn\'t essential, we can support you in gaining it
