Job summary

First Bus Lowestoft is seeking a Cleaning Supervisor to ensure fleet readiness, leading a team of cleaners, engineers and maintenance staff. You will supervise cleaning, assist with vehicle fuelling and movement, and ensure records and safety procedures are maintained at the Lowestoft depot.

The role offers competitive hourly pay (£14.79) and a permanent 39-hour week, with a clear path to benefits and career progression within First Bus.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence required to manoeuvre vehicles.
• At least 6 months cleaning experience; comfortable with cleaning equipment and chemicals.
• Supervisory experience required; PCV licence not essential but supported to gain.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and assist with planning the rota, duty and shift allocations of a team of 7 staff.
• Assisting with the internal and external cleaning of buses and depot premises with the use of specialist equipment and chemicals.
• Assist with fuelling, oiling, watering, shunting and parking of vehicles.
• Complete cleaning records, cover shifts, quality control audits on cleaners.
• To adhere to the Health and Safety at work policy, ensuring protective clothing is used properly at all times and appropriate practices and procedures are always followed.

39 per week - permanent position

Shifts:

5 days over 7, 4pm-12:30am

Hourly Rate:

£14.79 per hour

Annual Salary:

Approx. £29,994 per annum

About The Role

As a CleaningSupervisor, you'll play a vital role in making sureour vehicles are ready to hit the road each day at our busy Lowestoft depot.

About You

• A full UK driving licence is a requirement of this role as you will be required to park and manoeuvre vehicles around the depot
