Job summary

Arriva Group is looking for a reliable Cleaner to maintain high cleanliness standards in our buses, depots, and office facilities. Responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, and cleaning bus interiors.

Previous cleaning experience is preferred but not required as full training will be provided. Pay is £15.16 per hour with a stable Monday to Friday working pattern.

Are you reliable, hardworking, and take pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness? We are looking for a Cleaner to join our team and help create a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for employees and passengers.

As a Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of our buses, depots, and office facilities, ensuring all areas are presented to the highest standard.

What You'll Be Doing

• Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitising designated areas.
• Cleaning and maintaining restrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces.
• Replenishing cleaning and hygiene supplies as required.
• Emptying waste bins and disposing of rubbish safely and responsibly.
• Cleaning bus interiors, including seats, floors, windows, and driver cabs.
• Carrying out deep-cleaning duties such as floor scrubbing, window cleaning, and polishing surfaces.
• Reporting maintenance issues, damage, or health and safety concerns.
• Using cleaning equipment and chemicals safely in line with company procedures.
• Working independently and as part of a supportive team.

What We're Looking For

• Previous cleaning experience is an advantage but not essential as full training will be provided.
