Job summary

Kindred are seeking a hardworking cleaning supervisor to manage a dedicated team at an educational site in Tonbridge. The role requires leadership to maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety, with fixed hours Monday to Friday, 18:00–23:00, based at Somerhill House, Tonbridge.

You will train staff, monitor performance, and ensure contracted hours are delivered. The successful candidate will oversee inspections, stock management, and scheduling, while communicating effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Empower and motivate your team through comprehensive training and ongoing support.
• Complete and submit timesheets accurately and on time.
• Ensure all contracted cleaning hours are delivered.
• Monitor hours worked against allocated hours and highlight any shortfalls.
• Ensure any additional hours or overtime are agreed in advance.
• Conduct thorough inspections, ensuring adherence to health & safety regulations and quality standards.
• Efficiently manage stock levels of cleaning materials and supplies, optimizing resources.
• Develop and implement effective work schedules, allocating tasks for seamless workflow.

Minimum requirements:

• Previous cleaning or supervising experience.
• Must be able to commit to working hours as these hours are fixed.
• Can reliably commute to the site location.
• Able to complete the physical demands of the role with reasonable adjustments.
• Complete tasks within a specified timeframe.
• An ability to communicate in English, although English as a first language is not a requirement.
