Kindred FM is seeking a diligent Cleaning Supervisor to lead an on-site cleaning team at a Barnet educational facility. The role focuses on maintaining high standards of cleanliness while managing daily tasks, schedules, and compliance with health and safety rules.

You will empower staff through training, monitor hours and performance, and ensure timely timesheet submission. Excellent English communication and the ability to adapt to fixed shifts are essential.

Formación

• Experience in cleaning or supervising roles is required.
• Ability to work fixed hours (Mon-Fri 11:00–19:00).
• Reliable commute to the Barnet site is essential.
• Ability to perform physical tasks and meet deadlines.
• Good communication in English (not necessarily first language).

Cleaning Supervisor

Kindred are looking for a hardworking and reliable cleaning supervisor to be based in an educational building located in Barnet.

Pay rate: £14.50 per hour.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 11:00-19:00

Location: 5 Chestnut Grove, London, Barnet EN4 8PU

As a key leader in our on-site operations, you will:

• Empower and motivate your team through comprehensive training and ongoing support.

• Complete and submit timesheets accurately and on time.

• Ensuring all contracted cleaning hours are delivered.

• Monitor hours worked against allocated hours and highlighting any shortfalls.

• Making sure any additional hours or overtime are agreed in advance.

• Conduct thorough inspections, ensuring strict adherence to health & safety regulations and our rigorous quality standards.

• Efficiently manage stock levels of cleaning materials and supplies, optimising resources.

• Develop and implement effective work schedules, allocating tasks to ensure seamless and efficient workflow.

Minimum requirements:

• Previous cleaning or supervising experience.

• Must be able to commit to working hours as these hours are fixed.

• Can reliably commute to the site location.

• Able to complete the physical demands of the role with reasonable adjustments.

• Complete tasks within a specified timeframe.

• An ability to communicate in English, although English as a first language is not a requirement.

• Strong leadership and team motivation skills.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to cleaning operations.
• Experience in managing stock levels of cleaning materials and supplies.

Desired Criteria

• Experience within the cleaning or facilities management industry.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations (e.g., COSHH).
• Proficiency in basic computer applications for tasks such as scheduling and reporting.
• Relevant certifications in cleaning or facilities management.
• Proven experience as a Cleaning Supervisor.
