Job summary

The Chiltern School is looking for a Cleaning Supervisor to lead a cleaning team, ensuring a clean, safe and welcoming environment for pupils, staff and visitors across the school premises. You will act as a key holder and ensure cleaning aligns with health and safety guidelines.

You will join a dedicated team and contribute to safeguarding and welfare standards while maintaining high cleanliness across all areas.

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS check required and satisfactory references.
• Experience supervising cleaning staff.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of cleaning staff to maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment across the school premises.
• Serve as a trusted key holder for the school site and manage cleaning operations in line with health and safety regulations.
• Oversee deep cleaning tasks during school holidays as required.

Job description

The Successful candidate will supervise a team of cleaning staff to ensure a clean, safe and welcoming environment across the school premises for pupils, staff and visitors. You will serve as a trusted key holder for our school site, as well being responsible for cleaning according to applicable guidelines using a variety of methods/equipment and adhering to health and safety regulations

In line with our commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of our students, appointments will be subject to an enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.

Hours of work are 18.50 per week (2.30pm - 6.00pm Monday to Thursday, 1.30pm - 6.00pm Friday) , term time plus inset days and 2 weeks in the school holidays for deep cleaning.
